Adult Sunday School Classes – 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, beginning on September 11th
There’s something for everyone!
Vocation ~ A Place for Young Adults Room: C-7
We are a group of young adults…in college and out of college…who gather each week to explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus. All are welcome for bagels, coffee, and a safe place to be and grow.
The Wired Word Room: Parlor
Each week we’ll be discussing a current event and looking at that event through the eyes of scripture. Sometimes the topic at hand is the big news of the week and other times it comes from the world of sports, pop culture, politics, or medicine. All are invited to join this group for a stimulating and timely discussion.
Travelers – Encountering God in Tyrannical Texts: Reflections on Paul, Women, & the Authority of Scripture Room: C-10
The Bible includes any number of “tyrannical texts” and among them are Pauline texts that have affected the lives and ministries of women throughout Christian history. What are people who honor Scripture to do with such texts? In Encountering God in Tyrannical Texts, Frances Taylor Gench provides strategies for engaging such texts with integrity- that is, without dismissing them, or whitewashing them – and as potential sources of edification for the church.
Family Matters Room: C-8
If you are looking for a group of parents who support, encourage, and pray for one another as they study together about issues related to raising children and sharing the faith with their families, then this group is for you.
Pines-U – A Variety of Great Topics and Teachers Room: C-3
This class offers a variety of topics taught by some great leaders! In three to six week series, you will learn how scripture is interpreted around the world, learn about the effects of trauma in our lives, dig into the Nicene Creed, and more. All are invited to join us for wonderful presentations and lively discussions…invite a friend!
